// experiment with form and space enclosure – how do you define a space?
I created a structure that defines a certain space within itself while being open and unrestricted. The structure is composed of play with shadows and the qualities of an airy wall still working as a structural element.

// a light structure //
In making a light structure I strived to generate an open and gravity-defying shape. It can be rotated to achieve different perceptions of it, allowing for good diversity within this one shape.
The structure is made of matches and aluminum thins. The aim was to create a light-weight skeletonal frame and the formal development was quite liberal. I let the material qualities lead the way and experimented with various assemblies, finally favouriting the triangle shape. I used the aluminum thins to accentuate the spaces variously created within the frame.
